We are a design led architectural practice with more than 25 years of experience in serving the needs of our clients in the residential and commercial fields.
PR Design believe that the development of an accurate brief through discussion with our clients is key. This forms the foundation from which we develop a design that meets their requirements and aims to exceed their aspirations.
We can deal with Planning, Listed Building and Warrant Applications, manage the tender process and administer the contract during the construction phase right up to hand-over and beyond. We are always on hand to guide you through what may be your first and only design/construction project.
Through our contacts in the design and construction industries we can help put together a team of experienced professionals as required for a particular project, be they engineers, landscape architects, interior designers or lighting designers. We can also advise on contractors who would be suitable to carry out the building work.
PETER ROBINSON RIAS
Peter Robinson studied architecture at Queen's University Belfast and The University of Westminster in London, qualifying as an architect in 1989.
For several years he developed his design skills at prize winning architectural firms including Skidmore Owings & Merrill and Sheppard Robson in London, Terry Farrell & Partners and Reiach & Hall in Edinburgh before carrying out his first independent commission in Helsinki, Finland.
Returning to the UK he set up his Edinburgh practice in 2001, developing a strong domestic and commercial client base on the back of work as a client's representative on the Sheraton Spa.
In parallel with his architectural work for the practice Peter is also a Teaching Fellow and Professional Studies Adviser at Edinburgh University, lecturing students on the realities of architectural practice and mentoring prospective architects through their Professional Practice Exams.
